Hi, I’m nicole harrow.

“We cannot live the afternoon of life according to the program of life’s morning.” — Carl Jung

It wasn’t until I found the Enneagram that I started to truly understand myself and begin a deliberate shift into growth. Up until that point, I was unconsciously being led by the early programs laid in childhood, and my blindspots remained frustratingly hidden. There was a point where I could see where I was falling into old patterns of relating and behaving, but I felt helpless to stop them which resulted in an adversarial attitude towards myself. As a result, there was this continuous sense that there was a problem with myself, family, work, finances, humanity, purpose in the world, and on and on.

I’m an accredited Enneagram coach certified with the iEQ9 assessment, dedicated to guiding women toward deeper self-awareness and lasting freedom. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Davis, providing a solid foundation in Western psychological theory. Additionally, I’m a certified Yoga Instructor with multiple trainings, and have been intimately immersed in learning yogic philosophy, which I’ve used for my own practice as well as teaching through public classes, workshops and international retreats.

The Enneagram of personality combines the understanding of developmental psychology that informs how the ego/personality forms, alongside the inseparable spiritual nature of the human soul or Essence. The result is an intimate insight into the primary motivations of the individual that shaped the strategy of their personality.

The compassionate understanding of the Enneagram is the foundation of my coaching approach, which encourages clients to look at themselves with a more objective curiosity. From this vantage point, they can begin to understand themselves, which in turn can create an environment of inner friendliness which allows growth to unfold naturally.

The guidance I provide for Women is not based in attempts for self improvement or “solving problems”. Instead, I use my educational background in psychology, training in the philosophical teachings and practices of Yoga, and ongoing study and knowledge of the Enneagram to facilitate an environment of understanding that promotes self knowledge, self acceptance, and self compassion.

When our inner environment shifts from a resistance to how we are, and how life is unfolding - in this moment, this shift creates a place where the program of childhood - a sense of outer achievement which is aimed at looking outside of ourselves to get what we need from others and the world (because we are dependent on adults for survival), to the position of an adult with a sense of deep inner meaning - that naturally increases access to an felt sense of stability, support, strength, courage, understanding, generosity and grace.
