"You've done the work. Read the books. Gone to therapy. learned techniques. And yet there is a version of you underneath it all that you can feel, but can't quite reach."

You are aware of many of your patterns. You could probably even describe them to someone else. And still, somehow, you find yourself back inside them — familiar reactions and stories on repeat. Seeing them hasn't been enough to change them.

"You know the pattern. You can even explain it. So why does seeing it never seem to change anything?"

If you're here, it's probably not your first time looking. You've likely already done real work on yourself. And you're still asking: why does this keep happening? Why do I know better and still react the same way? Why does insight not seem to change anything?

Here's what's actually going on: understanding a pattern in your head and being free of it in your body are two different things. Most approaches only do one. Therapy and self-help can help you see the pattern — name it, explain it, trace its origin — without ever touching the nervous system that's still running it. Spiritual and somatic practice can give you real, felt relief — a good class, or retreat, or an experience of deep relaxation — without ever helping you understand why you keep ending up back where you started.

You've likely gotten pieces of both. What you haven't gotten is both at once, aimed at the same pattern, at the same time.

How i work - the two pillars

Together we bridge the gap.

I use the Enneagram — not as a personality quiz, but as a precise map — to show you the actual strategy you built to survive in your family, society and the world. The “problem” is not that you have a strategy, it’s that on a deep level you are convinced it is WHO you are.

I use nineteen years of yoga teaching — breath, movement, meditation, the body itself — so that insights into your patterns don’t remain as concepts. The gateway to integration is in the body. So your nervous system, not just your intellectual understanding, gets to change.

Neither piece alone gets you there because both need to work together.

None of this works without compassion for what you find — and I mean real compassion, not the kind that just uses the word “compassion” and then piles on a ton of judgement. The kind of compassion that lets you look directly at the parts of yourself you've spent years avoiding or defending with a love that doesn’t flinch. Without it, insight just becomes one more thing to be hard on yourself about. With it, the pattern finally has room to loosen and something entirely fresh can emerge.

THE REFRAME - living the dream

The work involved in truly understanding yourself was never about escaping into some better, more together version of you and a life that’s waiting for you somewhere else. It's about learning to meet the life you're already living with all the complexities and difficulties included. It is like becoming lucid within the dream itself, instead of a nightmare you're trying to wake up from.

who i am

I'm an accredited Enneagram coach certified in the iEQ9 assessment, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Davis, which grounds my work in Western psychological theory. For over 19 years I've taught yoga, lead workshops and international retreats, and I've kept a daily meditation practice and studied yogic and spiritual texts for more than a decade. Those two threads of my training are integral to how we work together: One shows you the pattern, the other allows you to recognize and feel it move.

I came to this work out of necessity. Parenthood, spiritual seeking, my Mothers death, midlife woes, inevitable marriage conflicts, and stretches of transformation both on my own and with guidance — have led me to uncover the myriad of unconscious patterns as well as disconnections in my body, that kept me stuck. I understand why insight alone never seems to be enough. I know what it is to be caught in a pattern and helplessly watch myself repeat it over and over again. I also know what it feels like when an internal shift occurs that rearranges my internal landscape. Freedom and fulfillment are not myths, they are possibilities that come alive in a visceral way.

My work with clients is to help them see their patterns clearly, meet them without judgment, and turn to the wisdom of the body rather than fight against it. From there, something shifts. Instead of feeling trapped inside the pattern, and trapped in a nightmare, they start to feel reconnected: to themselves, and to the quiet preciousness of the life they're already living. Not some better one waiting elsewhere. This one, lived as the dream it was always meant to be.

Ways to Work Together

However you start, the path is the same: see the pattern clearly, meet it with compassion instead of judgment, and learn to live your actual life as the dream it already is.
